Our Results

St. Patrick’s School’s NY State testing results put us at the top of the charts against most local public and parochial schools.
Some recent test-score highlights:
2013-2014 School Year

FACT: St. Patrick’s School students scored higher than Bedford CSD students on the New York State Math assessments in ALL Grades.

FACT: St. Patrick’s School Students scored higher than Bedford CSD students on the New York State ELA assessments in grades 3, 4, 5, 7, and 8 and were on par in grade 6.

FACT: 90% of St. Patrick’s School 4th grade students achieved proficiency in Math compared to 52% of Bedford CSD 4th grade students.

FACT: 91% of St. Patrick’s School 5th grade students achieved proficiency in Math compared to 60% of Bedford CSD 5th grade students.

FACT: Our teachers’ performance reviews are NOT linked to NYS exam results.

FACT: We do NOT participate in data mining.

FACT: We DO use NYS test scores to help determine areas of strength and/or weakness to provide differentiated instruction for our students.

Additionally, here’s how our test scores compare to other Catholic schools in the New York Archdiocese:
  • Grade 4 ELA: #1 among all Westchester schools in the NY Archdiocese
  • Grade 4 Math: #1 among all Westchester schools in the NY Archdiocese
  • Grade 5 ELA: Tied for #2 all Westchester schools in the NY Archdiocese
  • Grade 5 Math: #1 among all Westchester schools in the NY Archdiocese
  • Grade 6 Math: #2 among all Westchester schools in the NY Archdiocese
  • Grade 7 ELA: Tied for #1 among all Westchester schools in the NY Archdiocese
In all of these tests, our students scored significantly higher than many local area public schools, and often more than double public schools in the State of New York overall. In fact, our students scored in the Top 5 of all Westchester Schools in the NY Archdiocese in nine out of 12 tests!
Our students also receive significant scholarships to prestigious private high schools. Recent acceptances include:

In the past three years (2014-2016), our student have received more than $70,000 in scholarships to high school, including several full-tuition scholarships!
